There is no doubt that the studio itself is already signified, yet that is only the beginning of the chain; its virtual signification took place through the project. This impossibility of having a space beyond signification, due to its original status as Art or ideological space, is the paradoxical result analogous to Lacan's ideas of The Real. The Real is unrepresentable in any pure form, yet can anxiously manifest itself in immanence with the Symbolic and Imaginary. I saw my work on the tip of representation, bracketing the materializations which enforce fantasy. When I say I am thinking of that particular space as The Real, I am already paradoxically inside the imaginary. The bare minimum, which I showed more thoroughly by having the blog off-site, is the institutional space/form and design which legitimizes the immateriality of the mental and virtual situation.
